راولپنڈی ( اے بی این نیوز) پاکستان میں سعودی عرب کے نئے سفیر ڈاکٹر راجع طامی البقمی نے جی ایچ کیو کا دورہ کیا، جہاں انہوں نے چیف آف ڈیفنس فورسز فیلڈ مارشل سید عاصم منیر سے ملاقات کی۔
پاک فوج کے شعبہ تعلقات عامہ (آئی ایس پی آر) کے مطابق ملاقات میں باہمی دلچسپی کے امور اور علاقائی سیکیورٹی کی صورتحال پر تفصیلی تبادلہ خیال کیا گیا۔

H.E. Dr. Rajeh Tami Albugamy, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, called on Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces (COAS & CDF), at General Headquarters (GHQ), Rawalpindi.
During the meeting, matters of mutual interest and regional security dynamics were discussed. Both the dignitaries expressed satisfaction over the progress made under the framework of the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement and underscored the importance of strengthening defence collaboration, institutional linkages and strategic coordination.
The COAS & CDF congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and expressed confidence that his tenure would further contribute to strengthening the longstanding fraternal ties between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, rooted in shared faith, mutual trust and strategic partnership.

آئی ایس پی آر کے مطابق ملاقات کے دوران مکہ جوائنٹ ڈیفنس ایگریمنٹ کے فریم ورک کے تحت ہونے والی پیشرفت پر اطمینان کا اظہار کیا گیا۔ دونوں جانب سے دفاعی تعاون، ادارہ جاتی روابط اور اسٹریٹجک رابطہ کاری کو مزید مضبوط بنانے کے عزم کا اعادہ بھی کیا گیا۔
ترجمان پاک فوج کے مطابق فیلڈ مارشل سید عاصم منیر نے سعودی عرب کے نئے سفیر کو تقرری پر مبارکباد دی اور پاک سعودی برادرانہ تعلقات و اسٹریٹجک شراکت داری مزید مستحکم ہونے کی امید ظاہر کی۔
